I am a Bangladeshi. Our country has recntly experienced a tremendous disaster by a cyclone named 'SIDR".If it did not hit through the "SUNDERBAN" the country would see a more devastating scene. Next another named "NARGIS" by which we narrowly escaped. Mayanmar was knocked down .WHY THESE? The answer is "WE".We are inviting all these devils. We are the real culprit.

Hi! Have you watched the movie "The Day After Tomorrow" ? It's about the day when the sea water rushed to the U.S.A . It swallowed the city Newyork including "The Statue of Liberty". What a terrible scene !! I thank the story writer and the director of this film who presented the force of water (nature) in such a realistic way that can awaken the paralysed ,sleepy so called banyan trees who are indifferent to mankind .If you watched , you could ensure your death in those aggressive scenes if you were there. But it's not global warming which will make the sea water act in this way(except raising storm).It will kill you silently .It will come to you creeping.
So I say that now global warming should be the most vital issue of the countries(mainly the developed).It has become more and more important than the issue of(international) terrorism.But it is a matter of irony that the U.S spent an estimated 2 trillion dollars on the war in Iraq whereas we can't see any visible desire from the industrialised world to invest to prevent ill effects of climate change.Now let us take a glance on we see and what our next generations are happening to experience the effect of global warming. See you for today.

Regions that now experience light winter snows , may receive no snow at all.Winter and night time temperatures will tend to rise more than summer and daytime ones.
Water vapour is a green house gas and its increased presence should add to the insulatong effect. More cloud (produced by more vapoure) reflect sunlight back into space which should slow the warming process.
Hurricanes are likely to be more severe . Terribly true that evaporation of water is the donor of force to these Hurricanes. the weather forecasters will frequently mistake to prediict weather (The weather will be too much changed to be predicted).
Did we know?! During the twentith century sea levels rose worldwide 10 to 25 c.m (4-10 in) . A further rise of 9 to 88 c.m(4-35in) in the 21st century is predeicted by IPCC scientists.
6% of the Netherlands, 17.5%of Banglaedsh and most or all of many islands could be sunbmerged by a 100 c.m (40in) rise of sea levels.
About half of the present coastal wetlands of the U.S will ne submerged by a 50 c.m (20in) rise of sea level.

For years we are observing many days nationally and internationally. It has become a formality to us. These coming and going days are leaving very little effect on us ( as we are attending a canonization and leaving forgetting death ).
June 5 was the "World Environment Day"(WED).The slogan of 2008 was "Kick the Habit!Towards a Low Carbon Economy" .
How are we being benefitted by observing these kinds of days (just fruitless!)?
